What this involves.
Patients are not sent home with a hot pack and a hope. After the painful part settles, the work is strength, control, and a home programme you can actually repeat.
You are not handed a sheet and left to guess the movement. The session shows the exercise, then checks that you can repeat it. As the pain settles, the load goes up. If a movement is still too sore, it is changed rather than pushed.
- Assessment of how you move, not only where it hurts
- A plan that changes as you get stronger
- Home exercises, sometimes recorded on video so you can practise them correctly
Who this is for.
Exercise therapy is the approach used across the clinic, not a separate machine package. It is for a back that catches on standing, a knee that argues with stairs, or a shoulder that will not lift. The first job is to see that movement, not only the sore spot.
A machine may be used when it will help the sore area settle. The work that continues is strength, control, and a home programme. Some people are given a video of their own exercises so the practice at home stays accurate.
How a visit is used.
The first visit is an assessment. You describe the problem, show the movement that hurts, and can bring any scan you already have. You do not need a referral to enquire. There is no fixed number of sessions and no promised result. Later sittings follow what that assessment finds, and the load changes as the movement changes.
Where you are seen.
Sessions are at the clinic on the first floor in Hari Om Nagar, Mulund East, opposite Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Garden. People also come from nearby parts of Mulund East. If the journey from Thane East is not practical, ask about a home visit and send your pincode. The clinic confirms the area before a visit is agreed.
Before you book
Questions about this.
Is exercise the main treatment?
Yes. Exercise therapy is the centre of care here. Machine-based therapy is used when it helps the pain settle, then the work moves to strength and a home programme.
Will I get exercises for home?
Yes. You leave with a programme you can repeat. Some patients are given a video recording so the movement stays correct at home.
Do I need a referral or a scan first?
No. You can book directly. If you already have a scan or a prescription, bring it. The first visit looks at the story and the movement that hurts.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no fixed course. The first assessment tells you where you stand, and the plan changes as you get stronger.
What should I wear?
Clothes you can move in, so the joint and the exercise can be seen. Shorts or a loose top are usually enough.
